As a professional cray fisherman, my boat is my livelihood. I need an anti-fouling solution that's tough and reliable. Velox Plus fits the bill perfectly and has done so for over 8 years. With careful preparation, it goes on easily and protects my boat's props and running gear. Unlike other propeller paints, it can handle scuffing or foiling from lines or pot floats without materially damaging the metal surfaces. When it's time to haul out, application is a breeze. Starting with a pressure wash, touch up as needed with primer, and finish by applying 2-3 coats of Velox Plus. It's a simple process that keeps my boat in top condition and me out on the water catching crays. I happily tell anyone that wants to hear; Velox Plus is the best all round anti-foul for metals. Hands down.

I have used the Velox product on three boats over seven years. The product is an excellent solution to anti fouling for running gear. It has a hard ceramic / acrylic finish which is easy to clean underwater with light scrubbing. The product lasts at least 18 months and up to two years before it needs re-coating.
